NBA star Cooper Flagg returned to Maine this weekend with his twin brother Ace for their third annual Flagg Brothers Basketball ProCamp, working with hundreds of young players ages 6 to 13 at the New Balance Fieldhouse and Memorial Gym on the University of Maine campus in Orono.
Cooper, the Dallas Mavericks’ 2026 NBA Rookie of the Year, and Ace, a sophomore forward on the UMaine men’s basketball team, led instruction alongside coaches. Proceeds from the camp benefit the Donovan Kurt Memorial Cancer Foundation, honoring a former Nokomis High teammate who died of brain cancer in November 2022.
