We live in times where it feels like we are all at each other’s throats, with a mindset of “to heck with you and yours, I have mine and that’s all that matters.” Politicians telling you one side is the enemy of the other. News broadcasts and social media platforms push the division for ratings and clicks. Everyone is scared of either side like they are some kind of bogeyman.
The citizens and the soldiers are the ones who are suffering with both sides thinking they are moral and just, but both are played by the same puppeteer, as if bound by strings made of cash. The ultra-wealthy pit both Democrats and Republicans against one another in a system designed for conflict not cooperation.
We must as Americans remember that we are all closer to the homeless person at the shelter than we are to Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos and the other billionaires.
