Classes have been canceled at Oceanside High School after a staff member’s death.
Regional School Unit 13, which comprises Cushing, Owls Head, Rockland, South Thomaston and Thomaston, said that counselors would be available from noon to 2 p.m. Friday at the Rockland school.
Students who attend Mid-Coast School of Technology have the option to attend classes there but will need to provide their own transportation.
Staff will report to Oceanside High School two hours later than usual.
“We will share more when we are able to do so. Thank you for your understanding as we work to put supports in place for [our] staff and students,” the district said.
