A ramp connecting Route 202 to Interstate 395 in Bangor will be temporarily closed.
The onramp from northbound Route 202 to westbound I-395 will be closed from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, according to the Maine Department of Transportation.
That will allow crews to work on the concrete deck.
Drivers coming from Hampden who need to get onto the westbound side of I-395 from Route 202 should use eastbound exit 3B from I-395 onto Main Street and from there rejoin the interstate using the westbound onramp from inbound Main Street.
Message boards will direct drivers along the detour.
The nearly $7.4 million contract was awarded to Eurovia Atlantic Coast/Northeast Construction of Bangor, the department said Friday morning.
