
Two Belfast teens face arson charges after investigators determined a Friday structure fire was intentionally set.
Emergency crews responded to 81 Patterson Hill Road at 2:45 a.m. and found a structure fully engulfed in flames. Near the scene, officers found Isaac Cummings and Rowan Locke, both 19 and from Belfast, according to a news release from the Maine Department of Public Safety.
Investigators with the Maine State Fire Marshal’s Office were called to the scene. They determined the blaze was intentionally set. Cummings and Locke were arrested Friday afternoon and charged with arson. Both men were taken to the Somerset County jail in Madison, where they are being held on $10,000 cash bail.
