ELLSWORTH — The Grand in Ellsworth is pleased to announce open auditions for “Charlotte’s Web”, based on the beloved book by E.B. White and adapted for the stage by Joseph Robinette. The production will be directed by Ben Chandler and presented as a community-driven live theatre experience.
Auditions will be held on Thursday, Feb. 5 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 7 at 1 p.m. on The Stanley Subaru Stage at The Grand. Actors ages 16 and up are encouraged to attend.
This production of “Charlotte’s Web” will be performed for local and regional schools and homeschool groups, with two daytime performances scheduled for Wednesday, April 29 at 10 a.m. and Thursday, April 30 at 10 a.m.
Auditioners should arrive prepared to read from the script. All roles are unpaid, and everyone will receive equal consideration. This is a community-centered production, and participants of all backgrounds are welcome.
