As Maine high school teams head into another action-packed fall season, Bangor Daily News is adding something new to the way we accept local game scores and recaps.
Like before, we are accepting local game scores and recaps via an online form on our website.
But now parents, coaches, administrators, athletes and other community members can also send us game videos and photos using that same online form.
So whether you’re an administrator submitting full scores, a coach who wants to highlight the efforts of a key player, or a parent who captured a play of the game, you can now include photos and videos along with any written description that you send our way.
No matter the time of year, there are always inspiring sports moments happening across Maine. These are plays or sequences that decide games, define seasons and captivate entire communities.
By building this video and photo component into our online form, we’re excited to provide another avenue for fans and competitors on the ground to share those magic moments with us and our readers.
We’re looking for videos that are a minute and a half in length or shorter. If possible, photos will be best formatted horizontally and videos vertically.
Along with any photos or video, you can also submit scores and recaps of either games or pivotal moments to bdnsports@bangordailynews.com.
As another exciting year of high school sports gets underway across Maine, we hope you won’t hesitate to share these moments and results with us.
