A body was found Saturday afternoon in a car parked outside the emergency room at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, Massachusetts, according to CBS Boston.
The discovery was made just after 2 p.m. in a black car with Maine license plates, the station reported. Massachusetts State Police are calling it an “unattended death.”
CBS reported what appeared to be a bullet hole in the windshield and blood near the steering wheel. Material could also be seen hanging from the back window.
The Norfolk District Attorney’s Office said an autopsy is scheduled for Sunday to determine the cause of death. The person’s name is being withheld pending family notification.
