A Bangor teen died Saturday afternoon in an ATV crash in Presque Isle.
The 15-year-old was riding a 2007 Yamaha Grizzly on the Cross Road ATV trail about 4:45 p.m., according to Mark Latti, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
He was the third to last rider in the group.
The ATV rolled over and hit the boy as it did, Latti said Sunday night.
The teen succumbed to his injuries despite rescuers’ attempts to revive him.
The crash remains under investigation.
