A Minnesota man died Monday evening when his motorcycle went off the road and into the trees in Appleton.
James Limmer, 28, of Dundee, Minnesota, was riding his motorcycle east on Searsmont Road in the Knox County town about 6:20 p.m., according to the Midcoast Villager.
Limmer drifted off the road and into the trees, the Villager reported.
He was dead before first responders arrived at the scene.
Deputies believe driver inexperience contributed to the crash, according to the Villager.
No additional information was immediately available.
